Cover for Issue 6: Legend of the Corn Dog
The Pearls Before Swine strip of Sept15-2019 featured Pig and Duck in hot dog costumes (as the Buns of Doom - fans of a Rat's punk band). We bought the PBS Collections, but not the Treasuries. The Treasuries feature annotations by Stephan Pastis In the 2012 Treasury - Pearls Freaks the #*%# Out - Pastis made the following note under the Buns of Doom strip:
But I do not draw good hot dogs. I should have a least had the wiener stick out beyond the end of the bun. My, that sounds obscene.
Did see this note until 2017 when borrowed the Treasury from the Library.
