Children of the Corn

The source of this title of a Stephen King short story first published in 1977. The short story inspired the 1984 'Children of the Corn' movie, which has generated a large number of sequels. The artist hasn't read the story or seen any of the films, but he has probably read the back of the DVD box in the rental store. OK, the corn children in our cover picture have nothing to do with the story or the movie, but they are dressed up to be scary!
This collection (Issue-3) was dedicated to Stephan Pastis, creator of 'Pearls Before Swine', who provides inspiration and laughter in our house.
